Autumn Days

What a wonderful time of year -Autumn. Not too cold yet, plenty of crops being harvested from the garden and perfect weather to start working on blankets again.

I'm starting a new project without finishing the last! Ahhh!
You all know what that's like? ...I'm not the only one who does that am I?

I couldn't help myself, 10x balls of yarn for $20!!! Hehe

Storage sidetrack!

How amazing is this project keeper? I picked it up at my local Op Shop. Just one more distraction I didn't need -styling my projects instead of finishing them. This Zig Zag crochet baby blanket is coming along nicely. (I have about 9 weeks until the owner arrives).

Zig Zag Crochet baby blanket

I'm at the time in my life where everyone around me is starting a family, and I am in constant need of baby gifts. Since having my own child, I have discovered how handy a pile of baby blankets really is.
So since I'm stock piling gifts, I thought I'd show you this current baby throw. I am tired of making gender neutral items, so this one is clearly designed for a girl! Not quite finished, but it's looking good!

I originally taught myself to crochet 'Zig Zag' stitch from here(she makes some great videos)
